About RJ

Richard Jacobs (“RJ”) has been teaching ASL at both college and high school since 1995. He is currently in the 7th year of teaching ASL at Woodinville High School.  His side job as the CDHY mentor for educational interpreters has been for the total of 10+ years. The best part of teaching is that he enjoys witnessing his students and the interpreters’ improvements in the area of receptive and expressive ASL skills over the time. During his free time, he loves biking (he actually commutes to work via biking) and remodeling.  You will definitely get to hear some stories about his handyman projects during your training year.
